Weekly letters - #12
My dearest readers,
How's it going for you this week? How is the summer season treating you so far? To put it bluntly, it's dreadful here. It rains sometimes, and it's too hot other times. Do you have any goals for this year? Resolutions, for example. I'm not one to stick to resolutions. Even if I did, it would last no more than three days. But I enjoy making some personal goals that I don't share with others. I have five this year. I've already completed two of them and have three more to achieve. Small plans make me joyful and surprised, and they increase my self-esteem.
This week was remarkable for me. I went to school, had a great time with the kids, and participated in many activities. I'm noticing a transformation in myself that I hadn't seen in the previous six months. Slowly, I'm getting clarity on precisely what's happening around me and within me. At the start of this year, I promised that I would be content and do things I enjoyed. Slowly, all manifestations are happening; you may not see them at first, but they appear out of nowhere. It's simply stunning. Every day, I'm learning something new, searching for answers, and exploring; my response has evolved from "I can't" to "I will try." That's an apparent change. I'm having a good time at work.
Ahh! The Robins had returned to their usual spot, and their constant chirping made me feel pleased and at ease. I missed them so much. It was lovely to see a green bird, a yellow bird, and a red with black stripes jump from one branch to another. Everyone can hear what they're saying. I'm curious as to what they're talking about. They can say 'stupid' with their cute voices that we humans dont understand. After a long time, I finally tried jackfruit. It's fantastic. My father adored it more than anyone else. I also ate the most delicious guava, cakes, and pastries. I'm delighted I could eat what I wanted once in a while throughout the pandemic without any fear.

My entire family went on a vacation to our village today., I am returning to this place after 15, 16 years. There are famous temples, trees, and a tiny pond throughout the town. The houses were constructed during the time of my grandfather. They are still in excellent condition and are a thing of beauty. I went to three different temples. Lord Shiva's temple is the first temple. It was perched on the crest of a little hill. We have the option of climbing or taking a shortcut. It is an ancient temple, and I recall visiting it when I was younger. My sister and I climbed a small cliff. For us, it's a great adventure.

Then we went to another temple and climbed the stairs to get there. It's big, serene, and open. Only the sound of a peacock and insects could be heard. We returned, saw our relatives, and attempted to visit another temple, but it was closed. Finally, we went to the location that we wanted to see. We noticed a lovely peacock perched neatly in the tree. I'll never forget seeing it. We went to visit the lake, which is just lovely. This house is surrounded by a large number of trees. It was an old fashioned place with a huge Jack fruit tree, and we had a lot of beautiful moments that we will never forget.
We watched the peacock fly away as we were returning. I believe it awaited our arrival. We could hear its cries as soon as we arrived, and it eventually fled off after seeing us. Gracious! What a fantastic ride. The most lovely lady gave me mangoes. Seeing familiar faces and places evoked a lovely sense of nostalgia.
From the beginning to the finish, I was beaming as I wrote this letter. This is the best weekly letter, and it is my absolute favorite. This week has been full of surprises, which I adore. I'm glad I got to meet everyone today. I wish you a more enjoyable week. See you next time!
Love yourself to the fullest,
Vidya
