Weekly letters - #1

Hey everyone! Happy New Year!! I love writing letters and receiving letters. They remind me of good old days. So why not start here!

Dear reader,

I hope everything is going well for you and that you are safe. How is your week going? I've heard that online classes are making a comeback! Is it stressful, hectic, or exciting? It's all mixed up for me. On 1st of January, I awoke late as usual and practiced yoga. My mom had baked a plum cake for breakfast, so I was looking forward to it. It's scrumptious. My day began on a positive note. We had a simple lunch, and in the evening we went into the terrace and climbed onto the tank to get a better view of everything. We stared at the sun for a while; we stared at whatever was around us. I returned home, ate dinner, and slept—the same routine I followed for the next few days.

Though not every day is enjoyable, some are stressful. I was on my phone almost every minute, and I knew I was overstepping my bounds. I'm at the pinnacle of my limits, and it exploded. I decided to step away from social media. I felt relieved after that.My sister and I had a small picnic at the terrace. My mother made Mirapakaya bajji. We packed it in a box with some tea and headed to our secret spot. We began eating our snacks while gazing at the sky, watching the train come and go, listening to birds, watching them fly, and gazing at the moon. It may have started out gloomy, but it ended happily.

I received a postcard for the first time in my life. You have no idea how delighted I was! My sister and I decided to write letters to our friends this year. My sister made greeting cards, and I wrote and delivered letters. Writing a letter is a lot of fun. I've also resumed my anime watching! I started Season 3 of Food Wars and finished it in two days. It's addictive, but I had fun. I watched the film 'Encanto' once more. It's gorgeous, and if you haven't seen it yet, you should.

Today is the most lovely day of the week. I get to speak with my friend. I haven't spoken with her in a long time. The sky resembles a flower with ever-expanding petals.We also watched an aeroplane and a jet that looked like a shooting star in slow motion. We watched this cute goods train. It all looked like we were in a picture book! It is a good day, a good week!
